The 7th International Conference on Information and Knowledge Systems (ICIKS 2025) will be held at the Concorde Green Park Palace, Tunisia, from October 29 to 31, 2025. ICIKS 2025 aims to bring together both researchers and practitioners from the fields of Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Management and Decision Support. The conference seeks to promote discussions on various organizational, technological, and socio-cultural aspects of research in the design, implementation, and use of information and knowledge systems within organizations.
Considering the large amount of data, information, and knowledge created and used in the organizations, especially with the evolution of information and communications technology platforms, organizations under the process of digital transformation constantly search for innovative concepts and creative applications. More importantly, ICIKS aims beyond the predominant role of technologies, seeking discussions on the essential interactions between individuals, who are the ultimate technology users.
Organizations must be aware of the importance value of data, information, human being behavior, and the knowledge owned by their members. Developing initiatives to identify, preserve, and leverage this knowledge remains a powerful way to improve organizational performance. Thus, organizations must invest on human interactions. With the emergence of generative AI, many of these interactions now take place through digital information systems that integrate AI-driven content generation and support new forms of knowledge sharing and collaboration. These developments can enhance the creation, transfer, and preservation of information and knowledge, while raising critical regarding the security, reliability, and governance of socio-technical systems.
We encourage the submission of research related to the design, implementation, and use of information and knowledge systems that incorporate generative AI and take into consideration the cultural context of the organizations, and the perspectives of their shareholders.
Researchers and practitioners are invited to share recent advances in methodologies, models and tools related to decision making processes and information and knowledge systems that support and enhance digital transformation in organizations.
Topics of interest will include, but are not limited to:
- AI and information and knowledge management
- Tacit knowledge and AI
